Do not believe everything you hear.
And do not worship everything you see.
An old warning says, “Believe nothing you hear, and only half of what you see.”
The point is simple:
Be careful.
Look deeper.
Test the thing.
Do not be ruled by rumor.
Do not be deceived by appearance.
Do not confuse confidence with truth.
Do not confuse tradition with truth.
Do not confuse hiddenness with truth.
Do not confuse approval with truth.
Do not confuse rejection with falsehood.
Do not confuse the shelf with God.
Because truth is not afraid of testing.
Only lies are.
Scripture does not command blind gullibility.
It says, “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.” [1 Thessalonians 5:21]
It says, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God.” [1 John 4:1]
It says to study, to show ourselves approved unto God, rightly dividing the word of truth. [2 Timothy 2:15]
That is the next step in Project Unveiled.
Not believe everything.
Not reject everything.
Rightly divide.
Separate truth from lie.
Separate light from costume.
Separate Kingdom from machine.
Separate living revelation from dead curiosity.
Separate the voice of the Spirit from the voice of deception.
Separate what God is saying from what men have built around what God once said.
This is where many people fall into another ditch.
Some people worship the approved shelf and refuse to seek.
Others run from the shelf and swallow every hidden thing just because it was hidden.
Both are dangerous.
The first man is trapped by fear.
The second man is trapped by fascination.
Neither is truly free.
The seeker of truth must be stronger than both.
He must refuse the fear that says, “Do not look.”
And he must refuse the pride that says, “Everything hidden is holy.”
Because not everything buried is true.
Not everything burned was pure.
Not every rejected writing carries life.
Not every approved teacher was faithful.
Not every hidden voice was holy.
Not every official voice was false.
That is why we rightly divide.
Truth is not limited to one institution.
Truth is not owned by Rome.
Truth is not owned by a council.
Truth is not owned by a denomination.
Truth is not owned by a scholar, preacher, bishop, empire, or shelf.
Truth belongs to God.
And if Jesus is the Truth, then every true thing ultimately answers to Him. [John 14:6]
There is truth in Scripture.
There is truth in creation.
There is truth in conscience.
There is truth in history.
There is truth in suffering.
There is truth in silence.
There is truth in buried voices.
There is truth in the cry of the oppressed.
There is truth in the wound that finally tells the truth about what caused it.
There is truth everywhere God has allowed reality to testify.
But not every voice that speaks a true sentence is carrying the whole truth.
That is why discernment matters.
A lie can wear a fragment of truth like a costume.
A false system can quote Scripture.
A dead tradition can use holy language.
A deceiving spirit can sound spiritual.
A hidden book can contain insight and error in the same breath.
An approved book can be used by men to control what God meant to free.
So the question is not merely:
“Is there truth here?”
The deeper question is:
“What spirit is this truth serving?”
Is it leading us toward the True One?
Is it producing love, freedom, humility, courage, mercy, justice, repentance, and life?
Or is it producing pride, fear, bondage, confusion, superiority, greed, control, or spiritual sleep?
Jesus said we would know them by their fruits. [Matthew 7:15–20]
So test the fruit.
Test the voice.
Test the teaching.
Test the tradition.
Test the shelf.
Test the hidden thing.
Test the approved thing.
Test the thing you love.
Test the thing you fear.
Test the thing your people handed you.
Test the thing their people buried.
Because truth can survive testing.
Only idols demand immunity.
This is where “be ye perfect” begins to open up.
Jesus said, “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” [Matthew 5:48]
But the word translated “perfect” is tied to maturity, completeness, wholeness, the thing brought to its intended end.
This is not a call to perform flawless religious theater.
It is a call to become whole.
Complete.
Mature.
Aligned.
Teleios.
Spiritually brought into the fullness of what God intended.
That means the seeker must grow beyond childish fear.
Beyond blind tradition.
Beyond spiritual laziness.
Beyond costume religion.
Beyond reactionary rebellion.
Beyond swallowing everything.
Beyond rejecting everything.
The mature son does not fear the search.
The mature daughter does not worship every mystery.
The mature seeker rightly divides.
This is what we were designed and called for.
Not to be fooled by every voice.
Not to be trapped by every tradition.
Not to bow to every system.
Not to chase every shadow.
Not to worship every hidden thing.
But to walk with eyes open, ears open, heart humbled, spirit awake, and truth as the blade.
Because the Spirit of truth does not lead us into fear.
Jesus said the Spirit of truth would guide into all truth. [John 16:13]
Not partial truth.
Not controlled truth.
Not empire-approved truth.
Truth.
But guidance requires listening.
And listening requires humility.
And humility requires the death of pride.
So let the heart become broken before the True One.
Not broken by shame.
Broken open for truth.
Broken free from the need to defend lies.
Broken free from the costume.
Broken free from the shelf.
Broken free from the fear that says, “Do not look.”
Broken free from the arrogance that says, “I already know.”
That is where discernment begins.
Not in suspicion alone.
Not in rebellion alone.
Not in the hunger to be different.
Discernment begins when the heart bows before God and says:
“Father, show me what is true.”
“Spirit of truth, divide truth from lie in me first.”
“Search me.”
“Correct me.”
“Free me.”
“Make me whole.”
That is Project Unveiled.
Not blind belief.
Not blind rejection.
Not dead religion.
Not reckless mystery chasing.
Not worshiping the Bible as a box while missing the God it reveals.
Not throwing away Scripture because men abused it.
Not pretending truth exists only where Rome approved it.
Not pretending every buried thing is holy.
Rightly divide.
All truth from all lies.
Everything that carries life from everything that steals it.
Everything that points to the True One from everything that replaces Him.
Everything that frees from everything that binds.
Everything that opens the eyes from everything that hangs another veil.
And once we begin to rightly divide, the final call becomes clear:
Seek the truth.
Test the spirits.
Hold fast to what is good.
Tear the veil.
Follow the Light.
Come alive.
Be made whole.
Become teleios.
Complete in the One.
